How Do I Measure My Steering Wheel Cover

I found a steering wheel cover size 15″ in diameter and i dont know if it fits my car ?i read in one website that you measure the distance size from one side to another from middle of steerig wheel is that true? will that give me the measurement in diameter?i have a nissan altima 2006

Yes, what the website said is true.
Simple take a measuring tape and measure the steering wheel from sid to side on the outersides of it.
its simple measuring math. the average steering wheel is greater than 12 inches across.
