I had an Optima battery in my car. It finally died. Sears put in a Sears brand battery. The new battery is 2/3 the size of the Optima and it about 1/3 the price of the Optima.

It is an older battery that was sitting and was charged. It was tested and produced only 670 amps. Since the diesels have the glow plugs and need a good battery to start, would an almost 200 less amps be enough to start?
