I wonder if the crank angle sensor could be bad? If I connect the OBD scanner would it tell me if I have a sensor/computer problem?
I'm working on a 2002 Toyota Sequoia traction control problem. The code that I pulled from the system points to the steering angle sensor code 1231. I'm using a snap-on solus for diagnostics. When I looked at the steering angle degree value it appeared to be stuck at -2 degrees no matter what position I put the steering wheel at. I checked the wiring circuits as described on mitchell and found them to be good. The ...

I got the check engine light on my nissan maxima se and reading the code at autozone indicates that the knock sensor and oxygen sensor are faulty and, probably, need to be replaced. Is this an expensive repair at the Nissan shop? Where can I find information about how to get to these sensors -- where it is located in the car and so on -- so that I can do it myself or get a mechanic friend to help ...
My check engine light came on and diagnostics test showed that the HO2S11 sensor in bank 1 sensor 1 failed. I would like to fix this myself, but do not know where to look. The car is a 2007 Nissan Versa.
My car won't start and this is everything I've had done to it. It won't crank but I have a new battery, working headlights, radio, all the accessory lights come on when I turn the key, but nothing happens beyond that. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong and how do I troubleshoot it? Could it be the crank sensor and how can I check it?
