    Unscrew it. Rightie tightie, leftie loosie. Sometimes they are really hard to get off but they do unscrew off.

    Use a very small screw driver to carefully pry up the plastic disk that has the shift pattern on it. Under that there is a nut that holds the knob in place. I think its 13mm, but I can’t remember for sure.
