Is There A Special Oil Filter Wrench For The Mazda 6

Posted in Oil Filters | Asked on Jun 3, 2010

It is almost impossible to get the oil filter. I checked the website of Mazda, but you can not find any pliroforia.Nai, elevating it to be expensive because of the type of oil and filter type. Over $ 60 for an oil change! The problem is that the filter is made of paper, is not stable, so most keys will not work.

No, they just dont want you changing the oil yourself. Besides taking it in isnt that expensive anyway.

Use one of kind that slip over the end of the filter..They are available at most stores..Walmat etc..low priced..the smaller one is probably the one you need..The device lable tells what filter it fits.

There is a tool that the Mazda techs use but you can’t buy it anywhere. I had the same problem, try using one of the cap type filter wrenches. With some luck this will work for you.
