Stack Exhaust For My Truck

Posted in Exhaust and Mufflers | Asked on Jul 29, 2010

I own a 2000 ford F150 and want to step up the look and modifications on it. I would like to put some real stacks on it, but I have no idea how to go about this. What kind of price would I be looking at? And I’d have to create a hole in my bed so that they will fit right? Another question I had was are stacks strictly for diesel trucks? Or do they just work better on diesel trucks? Thanks

IN THE 80S DODGE HAD THE LIL RED WAGON PICUPS W/ GAS ENGINES WITH STACKS AS A RULE STACKS ARE FOE DIESELS AS THGEY REQUIRE LARGE DIAMETER EXHAUST I DONT THINK ON A GAS YOU WOULD BE GETTING THE LOOK OR SOUND YOU WERE LOOKING FOR PLUS IT WOULD TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR BED SPACE PERSONALLY I WOULD SPEND THE MONEY ELSEWHERE COLD AIR OR FLOWMASTER EXHAUST THAT WOULD GIVE YOU A LITTLE PERFORMANCE AND SOUND JUST MY 2 CENTS
