Stack Exhaust For My Truck
Posted in Exhaust and Mufflers | Asked on Jul 29, 2010I own a 2000 ford F150 and want to step up the look and modifications on it. I would like to put some real stacks on it, but I have no idea how to go about this. What kind of price would I be looking at? And I’d have to create a hole in my bed so that they will fit right? Another question I had was are stacks strictly for diesel trucks? Or do they just work better on diesel trucks? Thanks

There are One Answer
IN THE 80S DODGE HAD THE LIL RED WAGON PICUPS W/ GAS ENGINES WITH STACKS AS A RULE STACKS ARE FOE DIESELS AS THGEY REQUIRE LARGE DIAMETER EXHAUST I DONT THINK ON A GAS YOU WOULD BE GETTING THE LOOK OR SOUND YOU WERE LOOKING FOR PLUS IT WOULD TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR BED SPACE PERSONALLY I WOULD SPEND THE MONEY ELSEWHERE COLD AIR OR FLOWMASTER EXHAUST THAT WOULD GIVE YOU A LITTLE PERFORMANCE AND SOUND JUST MY 2 CENTS
