Exhaust Stack On An ’88 F150 With 302

Yea, before you put your “thats gay”, or “WHY?!” i dont care if diesel queers do it. Cuz im a diesel owner too, i just want one on my gasser cuz its a junker truck and i enjoy stacks appearance.

    It is easy enough to do. all you do is cut the pipe where you want the stacks and put an elbow on it. then run crome pipes up as stacks.

    Run them through the floor of the bed. Allow plenty of room for the bed flex and use a motorcycle exhaust shield around them to protect the cargo.
    Chrome stacks are OK, if you like that look.

    everyone else has given good advise. just from me trying the same thing don’t go to 4 or 5 inch pipe it will not be enough back pressure and i burnt out a set of heads just run your 2 inch up inside of some stack pipe and make sure you either use those flappers like on top of tractor of some kind of elbow so that if it rains you don’t get water in the pipes and blow black crap all over and make one heck of a mess

    not sure if i understand ?, i put stacks on my 79 ford f150,i waned to be able to put a topper on it so instead of running then thru bed,(like some do) i ran mine up the side of cab,i uesd muffler hanging brackets2 on each side i used 21/2 well pipe 4 stacks, my muffler r under the truck, hope this helps u
