What Causes The Heater In My Car To Blow Warm Air For A Few Minutes Then Only Cold
Posted in Cooling Perfomance | Asked on May 26, 2010This is for a 1987 Toyota Celica and a late 80s model camry. The thermostats have been replaced in both vehicles and tested. The heat will blow warm air for about 5 minutes then go to cold.

heater cores are probably clogged. Go to a radiator shop.
I hope I am wrong but it could be either low coolant, a bad heater core, or a bad head or head gasket. Let me at least be correct about the low coolant or heater core. But please hope I am wrong about the head gasket and or bad cylinder head!!!!
Is the radiator full of coolant? Are both cars doing the same thing?
