How Long Will It Take For A Standard Size Car Battery To Charge From A Complete Drain On A Charger At 15 Amps
Posted in Car Batteries | Asked on May 25, 2010Also, how about a big 700 CCA truck battery?
I work at a car lot and need to charge about 15 batteries.
Could I link 2 or 3 together with jumper cables and charge them at the same time so long as they’re parallel? Also, If I hook 4 batteries together with cables, could I use the 50 amp setting and effectively be putting 12-13 amps to each of them? Or would they each fell the 50 amps?
Thanks a bunch!
12 hours?? That’s at 15 amps? Maybe at 4 amps, but…15!?!?

to charge 1 battery it will take about 12 hours but i don’t recomend you conect the other batteries.
my answer is it’s 10 or 12 hour to recharge but if you like check this site http://www.bhs1.com/
Are you in a Rush? 4 Batteries Max. at 15 to 20 Amps, 6 Hours then Check the Charge Status. “The way it works is the Battery in the Best Condition and the Lowest Charge will Charge First with the Full Set Amps. A Good Charger will Adjust Automatically as the Batteries Charge and the Charge Load Decreases. NOTE; Never use “50 Amps” THAT IS A JUMP START AMPERAGE ONLY!!” But as with all charging of Batteries (to an extent) Lower Amps and Longer time is Better for the Battery. “Also Check delco.com or acdelco.com
