Car Battery Instead Of Cig Lighter

Hey everyone. I have a Bluetooth car kit that has a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I wonder whether there is a way to make it directly to the batter (ie, splicing of the end of the cigarette lighter charger). I do not want anything in my cigarette lighter and the wires would like if possible to conceal. Any help would be appreciated. Please be detailed. Thanx.

    The charger probably outputs less than 12 volts, so the easiest way to do it would be to get a cigarette lighter extension cable and connect this directly to the battery, (with an inline fuse) and plug in and securely tape the car kit to it. You could then conceal the whole thing under or behind the dash.

    Go to a parts store and look at power centres.
    Go to an alarm or stereo installer, they can probably do a nice job with this one.
