Car Battery Charged With Battery Charger

thats why i disconected it.
I properly charged the battery
My battery died due to leaving my lights on overnight.
I jump started it and rode for a while. I stoped the car and then turned it on to see if it was going to work. IT did.
I hooked it up to a battery charge anyways, let it sit for 4 hours.
Battery charger said FULL. i unplugged the charger.
I tryed starting the car.
IT did NOT sTARt..what is the problem…

I think you discharged the battery. You may have connected
the charger leads to the wrong terminals. Battery terminals
are marked + and -. Battery charge cables are marked RED
(positive) and BLACK (negative).
You might be able to bring the battery charge back up if you
charge it the right way. Good luck!

Check that you don’t have a bad connection on your battery terminals and load test your battery to see if it’s charged.Switch your car’s lights on and blow the horn, that will give you an indication if your battery is well charged or not.If you reversed the polarity of the battery when you connected the charger you would have had a big flash because as you say the car was starting off the battery when you connected the charger and wasn’t dead flat.Sometimes when a battery is old and it gets flattened completely it doesn’t hold it’s charge for long when re-charged.
