Can I Charge A Car Battery On A 12 Volt 1 Amp Slow Charge Battery Charger

This is a small 12v 1 amp charger that’s meant for motorcycles and snowmobiles, but I was wondering if it would work on a car battery if it was left on there long enough?

    Yes, as long as it doesn’t start smoking or trip a circuit breaker because of the larger load. It doesn’t really know what kind of battery is hooked up to it.

    yes it would, but it would take days to charge from dead to full.
    say charging a battery with a 500CCA rating with a charger that charges at 1Amp/Hour it would take 500 hours to fully charge.
    so yes it would work but its not practical.

    I have a battery charger that works on cars, dirt bikes, and quads. It will work, it will just take a while to charge..
