I think they said it’s to be used with a 12volt battery,I drive a 95 nissan bluebird ARX sedan,now I know that the cranking amps on my battery are about 700 but I never knew how much volts it carries..is 12 volt the standard spec for a car battery..I would hate to have bought it and not be able to use it.

12 volts is what every car has in it, you should be just fine.
yes and they are sold here just about everywhere the are mostly 6 and 12 volt… but you hardly ever see any 6 volt battery any more…. and pretty much any brand any be great to have and you dont want to use it a lot but you never know when one comes in handy
Car batteries come in 6, 12, 24 volt with the 12 volt being the most used now. Older cars may have 6 volts. Really large cars, trucks, etc might have as high as 24 volts.

I believe you’re concerned about the B/D battery charger you ordered. Most battery chargers cover every conceivable battery. Don’t concern yourself about the cranking amps. Your interested in the voltage. Why are you buying a battery charger anyway. Warm weather in the Caribbean would never need a battery charger. I live in Maryland and never use one anymore.
