Have A 97 Dodge Neon 2.0 Sohc

It has a bad shake to it and weve checked motor mounts,timming belt,head gasket,pcm,plugsand wires,cam position ,pvc valve,injectors,coil pack,changed air intake,fuel lines,the only other thing is the manifold was lose and did not have a gasket on it can that make it shake like its missing really bad. thanks for the help

    If your engine is shaking, either a plug or plug wire is messed up, or a weight flew off one of the harmonic ballancers

    You did all this work adn did not change check the manifold , you are a sorry case , any way replace the gasket and it is going to help because the engine is getting unmetred air into one or two cyl causing the shakes

    Yes. No gasket there is an air leak. If it’s the exhaust manifold there is an exhaust leak. The o2 sensor is not reading the the exhaust gases very well so it’s sending bad signals to the pcm. If it’s the intake you have air being pulled in past the the sensors and the pcm is getting improper signals.
