There are One Answer for "Car Led Lights Problem"
LEDs usually have a positive n negative side and BOTH need to be wired into in order for them to light up…
the negative wire is easy to hook up, (negative wire is usually known as the ground wire n most of the time it is a black wire) to hook up the negative wire:
- just splice it with another negative inside ur car (a test light probe might help) OR
- bolt it down to a chassis part of ur car (anyting metal such as a bolt)
the positive wire (usually red or blue) is hooked up to a power source n ur car.. there are MANY wires to hook it up to.. to hook up:
- find a positive wire (a test light probe might help) n splice into it..OR
- u can connect it to a fuse in ur fuse box
KEEP IN MIND that not all positive wires have a constant current going through them.. some wires such as the one that powers up the radio or ur power windows require that u turn the car on in order for those wires to receive power… for example if u find the positive wire that powers up ur radio and u splice into it, its not going to turn ur light bar on until u turn the key n da ignition to ON…once its ON then power goes thru the radio wire n the power wire of ur light bar (which gives it power n makes it turn on..that assuming that ur negative wire is already hooked up)… if ur car is OFF then of course it turns off ur radio and the light bar…
