just buy a big tarp. no i kid. but you should just buy any alarm. most come with a control shock sensor. which means you can control the sensitivy of when the car being touched. pretty sure in a keying case you make it super sensitive. just check around on the boxes when looking for the alarm.

any alarm system will do you can get a cheap one like a bulldog but most all of them you can set the sensitivity but by the time they key it and you relize it they will probably be out of site i would look into motion lights or park closer to the house or mabe even car covers or you can even go to the point of getting a fake security sign saying something like 24hr camera sullvlance be recorded

sorry to hear the bad news people like that i cant stand but good luck

they do have alarms that can detect side impacts, like a car or shopping cart hitting it, but i dont know if their sensitive enough to detect your car being keyed. My friend has one that goes off if you bump into it gentley, so you might be able to find one.

The only PREVENTION is to put it in the garage.

Camera is a good idea. But also get motion sensor lights and a car alarm (as most of them alarms when touched or keyed).

Good Luck....

If the car is outside with no one looking at it then there is no way to keep people from it. The theft problem is so bad here in Vegas that car get stolen by unmarked pick up trucks. Doesn't matter what alarm or kill switch you have they will just hook a rope to it a drag it away. If someone wants to do something to your car they will.

Get a garage, a giant bubble to put around your car, and/or a good insurance policy.

There's no alarm system to protect against someone keying your car. Some alarm systems have glass breakage sensors that will pick up a big bang and set the alarm off but keying doesn't make much noise.
May I suggest a trunk monkey?
