Probably weeks. Divide the amp hour rating of the battery by the amp draw of the system to get hours of time. Example, a 600 amp hour battery with a 1/2 amp draw will last 1200 hours or 50 days.
‘Til it runs out of juice.
(unless of course the security system is solar powered.)
Chances are, if you park in the wrong neighborhood, the battery will last longer than the car.
I think that the security system is designed to not draw any electricity until its activated.
except for the little light.
and they dont hardly use anything so i guess a very long time.

It really depends on what type of alarm you have. A simple shock sensor alarm should only draw power for the blinking light on the dash. You should get over a month out of it. An alarm with active perimeter sensors would drain more power and reduce the time. A stock alarm shouldn’t really drain the battery at all. You may be able to go to the website of the alarm manufacturer and find more info. The remote should say the name.
TOO DARN LONG!!!
most alarms are designed to turn off after so long, usually just a few min.
Mine lasted for almost 30 days before the battery ran down, the one time I wasn’t driving it.
it depends if somebody keeps making your alarm go off. Other than that, it can last for months. The only thing that uses power in the whole alarm system when it’s activated, it the LED.
