Will my 12 inch w7 sound alright with stock speakers? i have a 2010 camaro and a 1200 watt rms kicker amp?

    Your sub (bass) might be bit overpowering for your stock speakers, you should consider upgrading them for better sound quality overall.

    Get some aftermarket speakers, its worth it either way unless the stocks are really good.

    If you don’t know what good sound is it might not sound that bad to you, but…

    I’m running a comparable sub that gets 1000w rms (sub in a trunk).
    I’m running 500w rms just to my front speakers to achieve some balance with the sub. 500 is more than anyone should really NEED, but I would think w/o a decent set of front speakers getting 75-100w on each side there will be almost no chance of balance between the fronts and a 12w7 in a hatch.
