Why does my Kenwood KAC-9105D Class-D 1800w amplifier go into protect mode as soon as it turns on?

    Bad ground.

    Check the fuse and connection at the battery.

    If all good there, check the ground. It has to be grounded to a good solid foundation (Seat anchor or similar with no paint on it.
