Where Do I Install The Cd Changer In My 2000 Mercedes C280

Where do I install the cd changer in my Mercedes c280? Apparently the car did not have one when i bought it but can be installed. Also, what is the type of cd changer that is compatible with the car? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    It would go into the trunk on the side (the plug for the CD player is part of the basic wiring harness). It’s a 6 pack player (an Alpine unit IIRC) and you will need the bracket specifically for the W202 C-Class to mount it into the trunk.
    Check around in classifieds and on Benz forum groups. Many people would pull out their CD players when they sold their cars so you may be able to buy a used one for a much better price.

    EDIT: Regarding answer below, the CD player was only installed in the glove box on the next generation C-Class (W203 2001-2007). In the W202 (1994-2000), it was always installed in the trunk as that is where the factory wiring for the player is located.
