What Kind Of Speakers To Buy For An Alpine Stereo

Posted in Car Electronics | Asked on Nov 22, 2011

I had bought another car about a year ago …and the previous car i had had an alpine system in it. i took that one out, but the newer car i bought has a crappy JVC stereo (yuck) and i blown out all my speakers except for one lol. i have no idea what speakers to buy that would be powerful enough for the alpine. i have no idea what the number of the alpine is, it has a built in sub-woofer.

and the website or place to buy them from would also be helpful :) thanks.

Bestbuy.com kicker is the best when it comes to speakers and subwoofers but their a bit pricey u could og with alpine speakers but u would have to take measurement of the speakers in car to make sure they fit most cars have 2 6×9′s in the back and 2 5 inch or 6 inch speakers in the front doors just when it comes to speakers the more u pay better the qualtiy i would go with out the dual brand or boss or basically anything they sell at walmart

Kicker are not the best for speakers or subs there subwoofers are loud but not acurate in sound replication .if your running the speakers off the head unit and not a amp something around 25- 40 watt rms or 70 watt peak would be fine pioneer alpine Kenwood entry level bottom price will be OK for what you need as for exact models you didn’t put you car i dont know where you live but if its us the wallmart radioshack crutchfeilds or something like that if uk caraudiosecurity.com or your local car audio dealer

The quality and performance of Pyle PL63BL 6.5-Inch 360-Watt 3-Way Speakers is outstanding. The speaker itself is structurally sound and well manufactured. The performance is very good. The bass/midrange is powerful and tight (not muddled or soupy), the treble is very clear and crisp. For the price, these can’t be beat. Unless you demand the best of the best, these are your speakers. Otherwise, you probably wouldn’t be looking at these speakers anyway. I’m buying more for my other cars. They are great upgrades from factory speakers.

Infinity Reference 6933i Speakers was great fun and the very first thing I learned is that I may have made my reference headunit ill. It’s a very high end quality unit and it has been through the wars on my test rig. I am a bit fretty but I had to get my review done, so a trusty Sony SACD player came out. This is as rare as snake’s pyjamas and I have very few discs.
