Simply put: A one way security alarm is a simple push to arm an lock an push to disarm an unlock. A two alarm is when one or doth of the remotes have a pager so if your in range a your car alarm go’s off it will page you an your remote will start beeping. The other doesn’t have this feature. Hope this help you.

A 2 way security system comes with a Key fob that will notify you when your alarm is going off and usually has some sort of screen on it showing what zone is going off.

a 1 way secruity system is the basic arm/disarm with no notifications
