Crutchfiled offers a pocket to replace the cupholders and fill the space, go here http://www.crutchfield.com/S-b4yUx985L4R…

You could try and make a cap/infil for the hole where the cup holder should be.

i have a 1992 sidekick and custom made the brackets/ radio hole to fit in a player with flip up monitor.

all i used was thin wood/MDF and covered it with fabric that matched my interia.

Most Toyota vehicles don’t need a radio kit. If the original radio was DIN, you simply unscrew it from the brackets and attach the new one the same way. This is known as ISO mounting, but in the older days, the special holes on the sides of the stereos didn’t exist and the front trim ring didn’t remove. You had to cut it off and make your own holes, being careful not to damage the internals.

If you stock radio was double-DIN, then you get a pocket and it ISO mounts below the radio also.

Note: If you have the stock pocket already, there are two little tabs on top of it near the front. You want to cut these off so the radio face sits flat on top of the pocket.
