Get a crossover. it will plug into amp and only send the low signals to the subs and not allow the lower frequencies to go to the mids and highs
Possible problem:
high volume in the rear speakers in combination with the pressure from the trunk are causing hyper extension.
solution to problem – create a separation from the rear speakers and the trunk using a baffle or box.
Like one said already… Crossover! If your radio has one built in use it. Read the manual with your radio to learn what each setting/number means. Or, Turn the bass on your radio down and turn the bass on the amp up or even bridge the amp if you can…. combine the two positives and then the two negative wires and put the positive to one positive slot and then the two negative wires into one negative slot. It should be labeled for you.
You don’t want ANY bass coming out of your door or dash speakers so start with that.
Then see if you can turn the amp up
see if you can bridge it!
Finally the other guy is dead on too! Separate the deck speakers some how from the subs in the trunk box or baffle or whatever
Good Luck
Put your full range speakers (i.e. your Infinity Reference speakers) on a multi channel amp, and your subs on a different amp. It is not that they are crap, it is that you just do not know what your doing. Sorry, I am just blunt. If your running your subs off of this amp you want bass, there for you have too much of a load going to the Infinity speakers and keep frying the voice coils. Either get a different amp for the full range speakers, or just do not amp them at all.
As soon as they developed a good bass everyone forgot how to play.
