Set your HU’s bass and treble to their neutral positions. Put in a CD that is representative of the type of music you generally listen to. Play the cd and turn the HU volume as high as you would ever listen to it but don’t exceed 80% or so. Then go to the amp and increase the gain until the subs start to sound sloppy. From there reduce it slightly and you’re set.
