Well make sure you unplugged your old speakers and if your system has tweeters and woofers they need to be hooked up to a converter or whatever that thing is that filters the highs and lows first.
Your gonna have to hook up each wire individually to figure out which wire is which set your stereo to a certain side example start with front left try every wire until it works then go to the next wire on the stereo until you get all the speakers working
If you go to a Stereo Shop, they will sell you a Factory Wire Harness that plugs in to your car for $10.00.
Once you have a harness, it plugs into your old radio harness and has universal aftermarket colors, so red to red, yellow to yellow and so on.
Please do not Cut up, or Mess up your old wire harness, it makes it harder to work on your car in the future (for any future radio’s)
Your pioneer deck should have came with and operation manual and installation manual…. if not u can type in the model number on yahoo or google and download it… once u have the installation manual open look for the page with the wiring diagram…. your going to need the converter clip. then jus type all the wires together like the diagram says…
I would like to add to the other answers that you have already got.Your new stereo that you have will have 8 speaker wire’s coming out of the back of it.The 8 wire’s will be in pairs . You might have 2 white wire’s 1 solid white & the other white wire will have a black stripe down it. ( that make’s a pair ).All of the speaker wire’s will be the same 1 solid wire & 1 with a black stripe down it .Like 2 purple wire’s 1 solid purple wire & 1 purple wire with a strie down it & so on. There 4 pairs of speaker wire’s on your radio. The wire’s coming out of your cars dash should be the same as your radio.,( Maybe not the same color ) , but have 1 solid wire & 1 wire that matches the solid wire with a black stripe running down it..Just take your time & pair your wire’s together & you will be just fine.
Well Ive been doing car audio professionally in cars for years, and if you tell me the year, make and model of the car I will tell you exactly how to do it
