How Do I Connect An ACC Wire 12V Accessory Wire To My Car Battery Do I Run It Through A Fuse Terminal

The red wire in the wiring harness for a pioneer stereo. ok actually i got a car battery in my room and im hooking up my stereo to the battery and tryin to get it goin in my room but i got it turned on it jus keeps turning on but then shutting off again how do i connect the ACC wire without it turning on and shutting off right away?!!?!?!?!

    If your connecting it in your room to a battery its ok just to connect both yellow and red (from radio) to your battery. You might want to buy a lil capacitor though, but there is a fuse capacitor in most radios. thats the fuse thats out the back.

    Note: make sure the battery is charged. If its not in your car there is no alternator therefore no autocharge. Thats why it would be best to have a small capacitor. If and when you do charge the battery do not have the radio connected.

    There’s no trick to connecting the accessory wire; if there’s voltage on that wire, and on the yellow wire, then the deck should be on. It sounds to me as though your car battery needs to be recharged.

    You need to DITCH the battery and get a power inverter (changes AC to DC) because it will plug right into the wall and wont need any charging, then you hook the radio directly up to it
