Like, the kind in cars. A friend wants to know, and he can’t find an explanation anywhere.

Uhhh just like any other cd changer it has 6 slots and it just changes through them as you search trough it some times its the lazer the one that moves around sometimes its the cd take a look at one of them old school juke box its almost trhe same thing but with the technology now and days its alot more better good luck on your search
Alright its kinda hard to explain exactly how they work but ill try.
its just like a regular cd player but it has 6 slots for cds like most cd changers.
it will only work if your head unit has CD changer controls so you can control the cd changer from your head unit.
then you just hook up 2 wires one to power and one to a ground.
last you hook up a wire to your head unit so you can controll it.
then you just put the cd changer anywere in your car and you can just controll it from your head unit.
