How Can I Get Better Sound Quality Form My Mp3 Player In My Car

I have a 98 mercedes-benz c280. i am playing my mp3 player through a tape deck adapter i got for like 5 bucks. i know the bad quality is probably from the adapter becase i got a bose system in the car and it sounds good with tapes. would a better adapter get my better quality or is there anyway i can hardwire an mp3 jack into the stereo. i dont have a cd player or changer in the car. only a tape deck and stereo.

    I have one of the tape deck adapters for my MP3 player and it works great! I got it at wal-mart for 10 bucks and it works better than the 98 dollars thing that I bought. I’m not sure why its not working for you, and I don’t know where you live but if you go to circuit city or best buy, they can install an MP3 plug in inside of your car. It is fairly inexpensive and I do not believe you have to have a CD player for them to hook it up. All you have to buy are some wire and of course, the labor for them to install if for you. I would definitely call them and find out.
