Car Speakers Cut Off At Higher Volume Help.

I Decided to Swap the stock infinity audio for An Alpine Head Unit and 4 Alpine Speakers. All are Max Rms Power Capacity: 85w and Peak Power : 250 But When i turn up the volume it cuts off speacially on Bassy Songs. so im guessing its my stock infinity amp i dont know the specs but how many watts amp do i need ? and i need 4 channel amp?

    What model HU and speakers do you have? It sounds that you have a few things out of wack and misconfigured.

    Another possibility is that ur speakers r hitting beyond max. excursion when the bass hits, tune ur amp down a bit and u should be ok
