Where Can I Get My Car Fixed

Posted in Headlight Bulbs | Asked on Oct 7, 2011

I have a 2005 Honda Civic and I had it for 2 years already. Im still making payments on the loan I took out for the car. About $12,000. I have about $8,500 left on the loan. Its practically still brand new. In Feb. it will be a year since I got in a accident and I still havent got my car fixed. I currently dont have insurance anymore so I cant pay a deductible. Also, I cant get any insurance because my car isnt in good condition. There is a gap between my bumper and my hood. My hood is raised slightly off the hinges and my bumper is only attatched on one side. My headlights are not broken. I got a quote and its like $4000 bucks. I need to go somewhere that will let me do a payment plan because I dont have that kind of money. Do you know of any PROFESSIONAL auto repair places and if not what do you suggests? By the way, i live in Sacramento, CA if that helps.

I think you just ask that

I would get a few quotes from bodyshops.

Unfortunately without actually seeing the car I can’t tell how much damage was done. It might just be a matter of tweaking a few things, or if you got hit hard, it might have knocked other stuff out of alignment.

To get it done right, you probably will end up paying a few grand.

You know the old saying. If you don’t have the money you just have to do it your self. Remove the bumpers and fenders and see what parts got bent. Straighten them out with whatever tools you can get and get the car to where you can insure it. Than drive it to work every day and make the money to pay it off and get it re done. Extending credit to you right now is just not going to happen, so pick up and move on.

Call more auto body shops to find a lower price and if they take payments…here’s a list

Or buy the parts from a salvage yard and repair it yourself.
