Check the connections. I had aproblem with my Avalon like that and finally found a link that was not attaching.

Are you sure you used a low beam?? its sounds like you used a high beam bulb

This should be a 2 stage bulb, correct, is this the kind of bulb you purchased? If so please check your fuses and relays, there should be a fuse block located with in the interior and also one in the engine compartment as well.

Are you sure you used a low beam?? its sounds like you used a high beam bulb
This should be a 2 stage bulb, correct, is this the kind of bulb you purchased? If so please check your fuses and relays, there should be a fuse block located with in the interior and also one in the engine compartment as well.
