Are There Any Automotive Franchises That Would Change The Bulbs Under My Dashboard

Posted in Headlight Bulbs | Asked on Sep 3, 2010

The gauge lights are out on my car. I spoke with a guy that said that shops that do car stereo and alarm installation do that type of thing. Help, please.
The fuse is not blown.

Yes plenty of places will replace the bulbs, however they are going to charge a lot…i would call around and find someplace cheap or have a guy friend do it for you

Take a lunch hour and the Yellow Pages and call around for estimates. Then go with the cheapest one.

In many of today’s vehicles, taking out the instrument cluster is as simple as removing a few screws.

Why not stop by your local book store or auto parts store and buy the Chiltons or Haynes repair manual for your vehicle? That way you can save some money and do the repairs yourself.

It will give you step-by-step instructions on how to remove and replace the instrument cluster. It should even state what type bulbs you’ll need so you can get them ahead of time.

    Hope this helps.

Gauge lights don’t burn out at the same
time. have someone check the fusebox
    for you.
