What Is Wrong With My Electric System On 92 Plymouth Voyager

Posted in Headlight Accessories | Asked on Sep 3, 2010

Radio speakers buzzing and clicking after I shut it off. i had to pull the radio fuse to stop it no accessories will work. just buzz and honing when I push headlight or trunk open button someone said maybe not grounded took off ground wire cleaned and put back on but no change. just keeps draing my battery. while i am jumping it everything works fine but when I take jumpers off back to buzzing honing and stuff running while vehicle is shut off.
IT WILL NOT RUN WITHOUT JUMPER CABLES ON IT! WHAT IS AN EARTH LEAD?

Get a voltmeter on it while it idles with no jumper cables and make sure it makes 14v or so while running. You are describing what sounds like a bad alternator

Check your engine earth lead, and body earth lead,
    then, if no good, relays.

The first thing I would check is the battery ground that goes to the body. Not the engine. If it isn’t grounded right all the cars electrical systems will be trying to run through other systems looking for a ground.
