Are Headlight Covers Illegal In Oklahoma, The Blackout Style

Posted in Headlight Accessories | Asked on Sep 3, 2010

I want to purchase some AVS headlight smoke covers for my chevy silverado. Is it legal to have them on your vehicle in Oklahoma, I know in some states they are not legal, are they legal in Oklahoma.

    They are against the law.

Legal or not… I don’t think they are a good idea. It makes the lights less of what they should be. Really, why would you want to decrease the intensity of the lights??? If they will make the car go faster and get better mileage then legal or not… I’m going to get me some too!!!!!

Call the highway patrol office and ask a trooper. Go straight to the source.

I used to have them on my pickup for over a year here in Oklahoma, and was never pulled over for them.
