   A bad oxygen sensor feeds your computer wrong info resulting in lower gas mileage. However it won’t ruin your engine and it won’t hurt it to drive it for a week or so.

   You can drive quite a while with a bad o2 sensor. You’ll most likely notice a power loss and poorer fuel economy so it is something you should fix. One of my o2 sensors went bad nearly a month ago and I just haven’t had time to fix it.
