My Car Stops On Me In The Middle Of Me Driving. The Lights Work But All The Dashboard Lights Do Not Turn On

While driving, my car has completely turned off on me. The steering wheel stiffens & the gear shifter will get stuck in drive. When we try to start it again it will not start. The car has been checked by about 5 different mechanics and they seem to not know what the issue is. The alternator and battery have been replaced. What else can I do?

take it to a dealer when you can sell it for a better price
sometimes when they evaluate it they come out with the problems may be then you can decide
but just give it a try you will know the true value of your car atleast or mortgage it
Sounds like a short somewhere. The problem is, a lot of times, if it’s not doing it when you’re testing it, then you can’t find it.
Have you tried a dealer? I know they cost more, but are more likely to find it.

It could be the fusible link. That is the bump on the red wire going to starter. And put on a better ground to be safe. They will know what I`m talking about. Hope that helps
Sounds like you’ve got a weird fault in the ECU.
Reseat the wiring harness on the ECU.
It sounds like you have wiring fault to your auto box inhibitor switch or faults in your ignition loom or plugs in harness or the in line link fuse to starter
