Mopar People 400 Or 360 Engine

Which would be better IE? Power bang for buck longevity in mud racing truck high enough rpm a cast handle both. have 2500 to spend on reconstruction and upgrades. Both engines already on hand. Rebuilt 906 heads for 400. Transmission to fit both. I know 400 is not known for racing, but more cubes; Parts cheaper for small classes, but lead with rebuilt heads 400. helps. Anyone have ideas??

You could get a stroker kit for the 400 and make it a 450 for a reasonable price. I’d just use the 400.
