Putting a 250 6 cyl engine in 36 truck. Casting number is 473483. Need to get an exhaust manifold for a carbureated inline 6. Where can I find parts for this?

Any decent Chevy parts man can use that # to id the block and then he could give you a range of years that you could take that manifold from in a salvage yard.

  2. elenor31 says:

1983,the last 2 digits. For your exhaust manifold go to Summitracingequipment.com

It would be easier if you had the engine #–you could zero in on the year better.

Dont know if this will help but try this site

    http://chevy.tocmp.com/models/engine.htm ^(http://www.carparts21.com/goto/http://chevy.tocmp.com/models/engine.htm)

You claim it is a 250cubic inch engine which was the last of the inline 6′s made. So you are looking at 1970′s, maybe late 60′s

also try http://www.car-part.com ^(http://www.carparts21.com/goto/http://www.car-part.com) once you define the year it was produced
