What is the diffirence and what does the vehicle speed sensor do? Does it have a camshaft posistions sensor being it is fuel injected? I cannot find one of these either, how would it not have one?

These guys should be able to help you out.
Your Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) is located high on the bell housing of the transmission. It “reads” the mark on the flywheel for ignition purposes. Follow the link below to see what it looks like.
Your Speed Sensor is located on the driver’s side/rear of the transfer case. The Speed Sensor ‘reads’ the speedo gear in the transfer case to give you the MPH and RPMs.
There is no Camshaft Position Sensor on a YJ.
Happy Trails!
