Honda 98 Civic Engine That I Need Help

Will i have any problems with a putting a head of a 1.6 on a engine block of a 1.5 they are both 98 honda civic engine parts just that for some reason the timing pully keeps snapping the key please advise
ok the question is for my brother in law and i have the right information now the block is from 1.5 and the head is from 1.6 engines and they are both a 1996 civic

    if you have a 98 civic it shouldn’t be 1.5, they are all 1.6

    D16Y7 – DX/LX/VP/CX
    D16Y5 – HX
    D16Y8 – EX / US (or Canadian Si)
    B16A2 – Si / US (or Canadian SiR)

    the -16 after the letter means its a 1.6 liter.

    Well first of all what do you mean by key? Secondly since that year did not have the b16, the head should fit on the bottom end without any problems. A vast majority of the d-series parts are interchangeable without any problems (or at least there should not be problems).
