Usually they leak oil and not coolant. check your coolant level and change your thermostat
100% no.
Most likely causes are:-
Seized thermostat
Faulty Rad
Blown Head Gasket
A head gasket leak maybe?
No
No ! the only way it might get hot is if you run out of oil then you will hear the bearings.
Not at all, they dont have anything to do with coolent and temperature, mine was the water pump seal was leaking , but it didnt drip so you couldnt see it easily, they can leak at the radiator , hoses , water pump and even the freeze plugs, fill you radialtor first, also if yo blew a head gasket adn theres is steam comming out the exhaust that will over heat the car,
