Car Stops While Driving

Posted in Internal Engine Parts | Asked on Mar 25, 2011

We had snow here a few weeks back, instead of me waiting for the snow to melt I decided to try to get out my driveway. While trying to get out I got stuck and punched the gas going backwards and forwards over and over. Finally I got out and drove down the street out of nowhere my car started making putting sounds and died. I finally got home but it started then stopped the way back. I let it sit that whole day and drove the car the next day and it was fine. I drove for weeks and it was fine. Now all of a sudden while driving, my car stops. What did I mess up by continuing to stoop on the gas trying to get it out the snow. 94 Cadillac Deville
