most likely the shaft that drives the dist broke, pull the cap to see if it’s turning if not pull the dist and look down the hole to see if the shaft is turning, i’m assuming you replaced the timing belt all ready.
Very unlikely, if not impossible.
Odds are, if the pin in the distributor sheared, it’s because the oil pump is seized.
