What Would Cause My Car To Have No Power
Posted in Ignition Systems | Asked on Jul 5, 2010I recently replaced the distributor rotor and distributor cap on my 1990 Geo Storm Gsi. Now, I can start the car but, it has no take off speed. it accelerates extremely slowly even when I have my gas pedal to the floor. What could cause this?

your distributor is off timing. Lossen up the fastener, and adjust accordingly.
Did it do it immediately after you changed the distributor cap? If so recheck your firing order. you have 2 of the plug wires swapped.
You might try changing the air filter as well as the plugs, done the trick with my car.
It could be because its a GEO !
