What Tool And Size To Remove Spark Plugs From A 1993 Ford Escort Gt 1.8
Posted in Ignition Systems | Asked on Sep 1, 2010Would anyone know what kind of tool and size of the tool that i would need to remove a spark plug to replace on my 1993 ford escort gt 1.8 engine? Im pretty new to cars so i didnt know what to use, thanks.

I’m pretty sure a 5/8′s spark plug socket will work, or ust any 5/8′s socket. I’m not sure, but a socket is the best way to do it. Check Sears for a Craftsman Spark Plug socket.
In my experience I’ve found that using a 3 1/2 foot long jackhammer works for removing just about anything. If that doesn’t work I’d recommend three or four sticks of dynamite. Hope that helps.
