    moisture can get in and cause all kinds of misfiring.change rotor when changing cap.what kind of car..e-mail if you need help..

    it gets water in it and may not start at all and may CROSSFIRE, thats where the rotor points to a contact but will arc to the post next to and cause misfire or backfire

    The car will run rough and idle will be rough if u get moisture under the cap then it will run real bad if at all

    Moisture gets in and messes your ignition system big time. On damp mornings or when it rains, the car may not start but during dry days or after the car is warmed up (and moisture has evaporated) the car runs perfectly fine.
