Car Won’t Start…

I have a 1987 Mercury Topaz 2.3 TBI fuel injected car. When I try to start it, it fires up if I floor the gas pedal but after a few second it dies! I have changed the EGR valve,the starter solenoid, the distributor cap, rotor, Battery cables, spark plug and spark plug wires, transmission filter and gasket and replaced the catalytic converter. I don’t know what else to do, it’s starting to cost me a fortune! Please help me!!
