    Did you install NEW floats???

  2. Two Lane. Bigfoot 1. 4ever says:

Either the power valves are bad or the fuel pressure is way too high.

  3. Mister Ss says:

Bad floats or their set wrong, too much fuel pressure, or possibly the power valve is blown out.

  4. Mdk68gto, Ase Certified M Tech says:

If it backfired you blew the power valve. the floats could be set wrong, metering jets could be too large for the application.

  5. Chevyraceman_383 says:

    Float adjusted wrong
    Dirt/trash in needle/seat
float has a leak and filling up with fuel
fuel pressure is above 6 psi
    power valve is blown/ripped/leaking
Choke plate being held closed when it should be open
