How do you call the metal rod that connects the two front wheels and keeps them in balance on Oldsmobile Alero 1999….it just broke on my car, but i dont know how its called so i can look for a part

    You may be referring to the tie rod.

    I think you are referring to the anti-sway bar. It is the big long bar that goes two each front control arm that reduces body-roll.

    It’ll look something similar to that below, and is usually hollow.
